Rick Porras is a seasoned financial executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in C-Suite strategy, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and financial management. As CFO of Neology Development Group, he plays a pivotal role in fundraising, structuring complex financial transactions, and driving the firm’s long-term financial strategy.

With a solid foundation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Rick has deep expertise in auditing, corporate taxation, GAAP compliance, and financial risk management. His ability to execute sophisticated financial modeling, forecasting, and fund structuring ensures optimal capital allocation and financial health across all of Neology’s projects.

Rick has an extensive background in real estate finance, including debt and equity structures, institutional capital raising, and fund management. His expertise in securing large-scale financing, optimizing capital stacks, and negotiating investor partnerships has been instrumental in Neology’s success. He leads all lender and investor relations, ensuring timely, transparent, and strategic financial reporting to institutional partners and stakeholders.

Beyond his technical expertise, Rick is a proven leader, known for his ability to scale businesses, optimize financial performance, and execute complex transactions. Rick holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Taxation from FIU.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. Born and raised in Miami, he remains a lifelong (and long-suffering) Miami Dolphins fan.
